NUMBER ILLITERATES IN EAST KALIMANTAN

 The number of illiterates (in Indonesian : Buta Aksara) in East Kalimantan are not so big. Of the total population reached 3,025,498 East Kalimantan the soul, the number of illiterates was 51,899 people or 1.75 persen.

The number of illiterate in East Kalimantan low because only 1.75 percent of the total populations.Target of national is a 5 percent of the population also we have targetted, because illiteracy in East Kalimantan is only 1.75 percent of the population.

Of 13 cities and districts in East Kalimantan, Kutai Kartanegara District occupies the position of most lliterates. At year 2009, the target Kaltim mixed out 28,000 illiterates in East Kalimantan.
